The reason I attend the American Institute of Floral Designers Symposium every year is not only because of my responsibilities as a member but because of the shear talent shown off each year. It leaves me with a tremendous amount of inspiration and passion from seeing the talent of many other designers.
This year the Awaken Symposium took place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Paris Casino and Hotel. I was completely floored and blown away by the presentation by my friend Shonda Cunningham and her colleague Galina Mihaleva. It was an over the top floral fashion show that is sure to have the attendees & florists from around the world talking and remembering for days, weeks and months to come.
