Our Floral Wisdom card gives you the majority of the flowers included but just in case you are craving that additional knowledge….here is everything:

Cymbidium Orchid: The five pointed petal flower represents virtue and morality. It is recognized as a gift of respect and friendship.

Carnation: Also known as “Flower of the gods.” They are edible and come in every color except blue.

Lavender Rose: Purple is the color of royalty. Lavender roses represent refinement, grace, and elegance.

Matsumoto Aster: These long-lasting flowers have a yellow center surrounded by shades of red, pink, or purple. They are reminiscent of a crown or star.

Flowering Kale: This type of kale is not edible. It is known for its rosette form with a green outer later surrounding a creamy rose-tinged center.

Fall Beech Leaves: the bronze colored leaf is actually stem-dyed and not naturally that color. Beech leaves are known for their long lasting form in nature.

Seeded Eucalyptus: the blue-green foliage with berries attached was brought to Southern California a long time ago- many call it native. This foliage and berry does not have the scent you would associate with Eucalyptus oil.

Astilbe: The red small grouping also known as a filler is called red astilbe. It is unique in that it dries that color with light wilting and doesn’t fall apart. Common right now in the fall season.

Israeli Ruscus: The dark green foliage that is very hardy and will last for weeks maybe months after it is cut from the plant.

We hope you enjoy your monthly flower bouquet as much as we enjoyed making it for you!
